The Alchemy Centre is a (registered) non-profit organisation that seeks to fight poverty and systemic injustices through the development of young people in South Africa. The organisation specially targets those who come from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. Not everyone has access to the knowledge, guidance and education that they need in order to reach the success in life that they desire. The Alchemy Centre hopes to bridge this gap by facilitating mentor-mentee relationships and empowering young people with the tools and the skills to become independent and self-sufficient. The core focus areas being personal development, leadership development, educational and skills development, and lastly financial management.

What sets the organisation apart from other educational platforms is the fact that it is not a generic model for personal development. Programs are intensely personal and tailored to where the individual wants to go.
